September 2 - September 3
The use and governance of natural resources lies at the core of today’s most pressing challenges – from the triple planetary crisis to social inequality and economic development. The way we use natural resources impacts not only global sustainability but also the fairness and resilience of societies worldwide. To tackle these complex, interdependent issues, innovative and inclusive strategies are urgently needed.
WRF25 convenes global leaders from policy, industry, science and civil society to assess and refine strategies for resource governance and management. The conference will facilitate the exchange of knowledge across regions and stakeholders, exploring how successful approaches can be adapted or scaled globally. A solutions-oriented dialogue aimed at creating resource strategies that support both global goals and local realities.
REEsilience representative Maarten Koese from project partner Leiden University will also take part with a presentation on “Life Cycle Approaches for Sustainability. #152. Comparative life cycle assessment of different NdFeB magnet recycling routes” on Wednesday September 3, from 11 – 12am.
